Welcome to Ostomy Connection of Charlotte, NC.
We are a local support group for people that have colostomies, ileostomies or urostomies. Our
purpose is to provide encouragement, information and support that will enable you to return to a
normal healthy lifestyle following ostomy surgery.
We meet several times a year and invite a guest speaker who provides useful information on
various topics.
We are looking forward to serving the Ostomy community another great and successful year. In
2009, We were able to help hundreds by donating supplies and providing assistance with their
needs and questions.
Our next meeting will be held on February 16th, 7pm at Presbyterian Hospital in Matthews. It
will be a visitor's workshop, we will learn " How to be the best ever visitor to someone with a
new Ostomy."
This meeting will be good for anyone with an Ostomy to share his/her visitor stories, and to
teach each other some new skills.

We have a very informative newsletter that provides you with tips and techniques of dealing with
your medical condition. Our membership dues are $15 for a 12 month membership. Please e-

We have an experienced ET nurse available to answer your questions and guide you to the right

Please donate your old ostomy supplies to OSTOGROUP. They donate your supplies to people
in need, who can't afford those supplies. They only charge shipping charges.
