Welcome to Ostomy Connection of Charlotte, NC.
We are a local support group for people that have colostomies, ileostomies or urostomies. Our
purpose is to provide encouragement, information and support that will enable you to return to a
normal healthy lifestyle following ostomy surgery.
We meet several times a year and invite a guest speaker who provides useful information on
various topics.
Our next meeting will be held on June 16th 2009, 7PM at Presbyterian Hospital in Matthews.
The topic will be "Stress Management." Please join us to find out how to "De-Stress."
We are planning to visit Rocky River Vineyards on Friday July 31. We will enjoy a band in the
open air pavilion, wine , appetizers and dancing. All of this for only $20. Please contact Carla
Mellon for further information.
We would like to welcome Janet Cline to our Board of Directors. We are looking forward to
working with her to continue serving the ostomy community.
We have a very informative newsletter that provides you with tips and techniques of dealing with
your medical condition. Dues are $15 for a 12 month membership, it includes Bi-monthly New
Life newsletter. Please e-mail us to become a member and start receiving newsletters.
We have an experienced ET nurse available to answer your questions and guide you to the right
direction. For our goals,newsletter and to find out more about us, click on the side bar.
We are in the process of making this website more helpful and easy to use. Please contact us

Please donate your old ostomy supplies to OSTOGROUP. They donate your supplies to people
in need, who can't afford those supplies. They only charge shipping charges.
