Welcome to Ostomy Connection of Charlotte, NC.
We are a local support group for people that have colostomies, ileostomies or urostomies. Our
purpose is to provide encouragement, information and support that will enable you to return to a
normal healthy lifestyle following ostomy surgery.
We meet several times a year and invite a guest speaker who provides useful information on
various topics.
Our next meeting will be on Nov. 21st at 7PM at the Presbyterian Hospital in Matthews.
Terri Barber from Coloplast will be giving a presentation.
Our yearly Christmas Party will be on Tueday December 2nd at 7PM at the same place as last
year - Matthews Women's Club. We will have catered meal and live music, the cost is only $8.00
per person. Please RSVP to Christale Norwood by November 25.
We are looking for a new member on our Board of Directors--- If interested please contact Carla
or Christale
We have a very informative newsletter that provides you with tips and techniques of dealing with
your medical condition. Dues are $15 for a 12 month membership, it includes Bi-monthly New
Life newsletter. Please e-mail us to become a member and start receiving newsletters.
We have an experienced ET nurse available to answer your questions and guide you to the right
direction. For our goals,newsletter and to find out more about us, click on the side bar.
We are in the process of making this website more helpful and easy to use. Please contact us

Please donate your old ostomy supplies to OSTOGROUP. They donate your supplies to people
in need, who can't afford those supplies. They only charge shipping charges.
